Well, i'm not saying i'm entirely dependent on the internet but not having internet access for the past 4 days did make me restless enough to squirm and fret. It's more a matter of convenience than anything else. I finally could check my mails at home, log on to facebook, get this blog up and running, amidst other online activities i partake in.
I finally have internet. The most common method is using data downloads from the mobile phone to go online. That's exactly what i opted for, at a bargain. 2GB for a grand total of INR. 100 = SGD$2.80.
Fortunately, it's fast enough to browse through websites and etc. But not fast enough to skype - the quality of the call and the video is miserably pathetic, it's almost painful to sit through a skype conversation.
